After two failed wedding attempts (you might remember a thing called COVID), we just went ahead and got married back in 2020. We were really into each other and couldn't wait. Leaving the big celebration with all our friends and family behind.
The good news is that we are still really into each other and on what will be on our sixth wedding anniversary, we’re finally throwing the party we never got to have. Hopefully with all of you.
No big ceremony. No stress. Just celebration.

We had originally planned to get married in Opava, Czech Republic but decided it might be a little too adventurous for most of our guests (both time- and wallet-wise). So instead, we thought it only right to celebrate in Kingston — the place where we actually tied the knot and somewhere that means a lot to us.
The Dolphin Inn is especially close to our hearts — it’s where we ended up having our unplanned wedding breakfast, sitting on a bench in our wedding gear, just the two of us. So it feels like perfect symmetry to come back here and finally celebrate properly, with all of you, as part of the original story.

Summer garden party vibes (with a touch of Alice in Wonderland — think Mad Hatter’s tea party, not royal wedding). Wear whatever makes you feel good (but maybe leave the jeans at home). Kids are very welcome, and we’ll have plenty of space for them to run around. Just one small request: please avoid wearing white… the bride’s earned her moment.

Your presence is the only present we need, truly. We’ve waited six years to throw this party and having you there means everything. That said… we’re not going to be those people who say “absolutely no gifts”. So if you would like to get us something, we'd be super grateful for AirBnB vouchers. You can buy them here

Kingston is charmingly remote — which is part of the magic but also why we have decided to put on free transport from Plymouth for up to 48 guests. On a first come first served basis. Please reach out to Ivy to reserve your spot.
The bus pick up and drop off will be from the Premier Inn, Plymouth East.
If you stay in other parts of the county, it means you’ll likely need to drive or carpool to get here. We suggest looking at accommodation options across a 30-minute radius, including: Plymouth, Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Modbury and of course Kingston itself. Airbnb and Booking.com, Premier Inns etc are your best bets for a good range of prices and styles — but places do book up quickly, so worth jumping on it soon.
If you’re thinking about making a weekend (or even a week) of it, the area is perfect for a mini escape. We’re a stone’s throw from some of Devon’s best beaches — Bigbury-on-Sea and Wonwell are just down the road, offering stunning coastal walks, swims, and sandy spots to unwind. It’s a great excuse to turn The Unwedding into your own little holiday.
I am sure you can just WhatsApp us but here is a way to do it on the website too
